Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, without giving a reason. Signed in, go to Settings, Delete account. Without signing in, go to lovele.app/delete-account, enter the phone number of the account, and confirm with the code we send by SMS.

The account is deactivated at once: you are signed out everywhere, your profile disappears, and nobody can find you or message you. It is deleted for good 14 days later. Signing in before then cancels the deletion and brings everything back.

While a redemption is still in progress, the deletion waits until it finishes. If you have points above the minimum, redeem them first. Points left on the account are forfeited when it is deleted.

Download your data first if you want a copy: Settings, My data. The export needs you to be signed in.

Deleted for good: your profile, posts, comments, photos and videos, messages and encryption keys, friends, payout destinations and devices. Kept, with your identifying details removed: the records of points and payments that accounting law requires. The full list of what is kept, and for how long, is on lovele.app/delete-account and in the Privacy Policy.

After the 14 days there is no way back, not through support and not with proof of identity, because the encryption keys no longer exist.
