What Lovele can and cannot see
End-to-end encryption protects what you say. It does not hide everything about how you use Lovele. This is what our servers see, and what they don't.
Our servers see which account and device is connected, and which conversation each encrypted message goes to. Without that, nothing could be delivered.
They see who belongs to which group, so that only members can add or remove people, and when a message is sent and how big the encrypted message is.
For calls, they see who takes part, when they join and leave, and how long the call lasts. For rewards on chat activity, they count how many messages you send per day in a conversation, never what they say.
Our servers do not see message content, photos, videos, files, reactions or edits. In a group, the sender of a message is encrypted together with its content; the server still knows which account was connected when it was uploaded. They never see call audio, video or call keys.
Encrypted messages are deleted from our servers once they have been delivered. Your history lives on your devices.
We keep IP addresses for 7 days, for security and fraud prevention, and then delete or shorten them. They are not logged with messages or calls.
Notifications never carry message content. By default they show who wrote to you, and you can hide the name as well in Settings.
Lovele is served through Cloudflare, which protects the site against attacks. Cloudflare sees your IP address and the requests your device makes, but not message content, which is encrypted before it leaves your device. The full list is at lovele.app/security and in the Privacy Policy.
