Finding and adding friends
You add friends in two ways: with their phone number, or with an invite link.
With a phone number: type the number of someone you know in Friends, Add a friend. If they let people who have their number find them, they show up and you can send them a friend request. In the app you can also check which of your phone contacts are on Lovele.
With an invite link: create an invite link in Friends and send it to one person. When they create their account with it, you become friends right away. Each link works once. If someone joins with your public link or code instead, they count as your invite, and you can add each other by phone number.
Your friends list is yours alone. Nobody can see who your friends are, nobody is suggested to you as someone you may know, and searching by name only finds people who are already your friends.
The feed is only for mutual friends: your posts reach the people you are friends with, and nobody else.
In Settings, Privacy, you choose whether people who have your number can find you and send you a friend request. With it off, people can only add you through an invite link you send them. We never show your number to anyone.
