Delete your Lovele account

This page covers the website at lovele.app and the Lovele app for Android and iOS: how to delete your account, what is deleted, and what we keep and for how long.

Lovele: Private Chat & Earn is published by AndiamoApps, the developer account of ANDIAMO SOFTWARE SRL.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in on lovele.app or in the Lovele app with your phone number.
  2. Open Settings, then Delete account.
  3. Read what is kept, type the confirmation word, and confirm.

Cannot sign in

Enter the phone number of the account. If it has an account, we send a code to it by SMS. Nothing is deleted until you enter the code and confirm.

Start with the country code, for example +44.

14 days to change your mind

Your account is deactivated at once: you are signed out everywhere, your profile disappears, and nobody can find you or message you. It is deleted for good 14 days later. Signing in before then cancels the deletion and brings everything back. While a redemption is still in progress, the deletion waits until it finishes.

What is deleted

  • Your profile, profile photo, username and settings
  • Your posts, comments, reactions, and the photos and videos you uploaded
  • Your messages, the photos, videos and voice messages in them, and your encryption keys
  • Your friends, friend requests and blocks
  • Your payout destinations, devices and two factor settings. Your support emails stay in our mailbox, not in your account, and are deleted where the law allows
  • Any points left on the account, which are forfeited

What is kept, and for how long

  • Records of points and payments, including completed redemptions, with your identifying details removed: for the period Romanian accounting law requires.
  • Records that stop the same person from coming back to abuse rewards, such as one way hashes of device, network and phone identifiers: kept for 2 years after the deletion.
  • Reports and moderation decisions: kept for 2 years after the case is closed, because they are also about other people.
  • Copies of messages that someone reported: deleted 30 days after the report, unless the report is still being reviewed.
  • Original files of photos and videos published in the last 30 days, kept privately while they are checked for child sexual abuse material: deleted when that check ends, at most 30 days after publication.
  • Evidence of child sexual abuse material: kept for the authorities until the case is closed with their reference, then for 365 more days.
  • The record that your account was deleted, which is the proof that it happened.

The full list, and the legal basis for each item, is in section 9 of the privacy policy.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You do not have to delete your account to delete some of your data. You can do this yourself, on lovele.app or in the app:

  • A post, comment or story: open its menu and choose Delete my post, Delete my comment or Delete story. It disappears for everyone at once, and the photos and videos published in it are deleted.
  • A chat message: open the message menu and choose Remove, then Unsend for everyone, for your own messages, or Remove for you. Unsend for everyone deletes the encrypted message and its photos, videos or voice message from our servers; a copy already on the other person's device may stay there. Clear chat and Delete chat remove the history from your own view.
  • Your profile photo: open Edit profile and choose Remove the photo. The photo leaves your profile and its published copy is deleted.
  • Being found by your number: in Settings, Privacy, turn off Let people who have my number find me, and save. Find friends from contacts matches the numbers on your phone without storing them, so nothing is kept that would need deleting.
  • A copy of your data: in Settings, My data, choose Build my export, and you get a file with the data held on your account.
  • Anything else, including the identity verification sessions held by Didit: write to legal@lovele.app with the phone number of the account, and we delete what the law does not require us to keep.

Something not working

Write to legal@lovele.app with the phone number of the account, and a person answers.
