Your private chats stay between you.

Every message is end-to-end encrypted, so only you and the people in the chat can read it. Not even Lovele can.

    Every message is encrypted before it leaves your device, and only your friend's device can decrypt it.

    From a few close friends to large groups, every group message is encrypted like a one-to-one chat.

    Record, send, and listen back at 1.5x or 2x. Encrypted like everything else.

  • Media that disappears

    Photos, videos and voice messages are deleted 24 hours after you send them, or sooner if you choose.

  • Audio and video calls

    Call your friends privately, one to one or in a group. Encrypted like everything else.

  • Your chat passphrase

    It unlocks your chats on your device and never leaves it. Forget it and nobody can recover your history, us included.

  • End-to-end encrypted, every chat

    Every message, photo and voice note is encrypted on your device with XChaCha20-Poly1305 and decrypted only on the devices of the people in the chat. Its key reaches each of them through X25519, combined with the post-quantum ML-KEM-768 wherever their app supports it. The keys are made on your device and never sent to our servers.

What to know about private chat on Lovele.

  • Is Lovele chat end-to-end encrypted?

    Yes. Every message, photo, voice message and call is encrypted on your device and decrypted only on the devices of the people in the chat. The keys are made on your device and never reach our servers.

  • Who can read my private chats?

    Only the people in the conversation. Our servers pass on encrypted text they cannot open, so nobody at Lovele can read your messages.

  • Can I call my friends on Lovele?

    Yes. Audio and video calls, one to one or in a group, are end-to-end encrypted like your messages.

  • Does Lovele cost anything?

    No. You never pay to use Lovele and there are no purchases in the app. Lovele is funded by advertising, and advertisers never see your chats.

  • Do I need an email or a password?

    No. Your phone number is your account: you sign in with a code sent by SMS. Your number is never shown on your profile.

  • What if I forget my chat passphrase?

    Nobody can reset it, us included, so old messages stay unreadable. You can reset chat and start fresh: your conversations and groups stay, with new keys.
